Frequently asked questions

What time should I aim to arrive?

Aim to arrive 5 or 10 minutes before the start time.

How long are the classes?

All classes last 45 minutes.

What should I bring with me?
  • Comfortable workout clothes and trainers

  • A bottle of water

  • An exercise mat (don’t worry if you don’t have one - I’ve got spares!)

  • A snack if you’re breastfeeding (keeping your energy up is key!)

  • Something for your baby to play with or sit/lie on

Are the venues buggy-friendly?

Yes.

Both of my venues have step-free access and will allow buggies and push chairs to be brought into the room.

Can I bring my baby?

Yes.

Babies and pre-school children are welcome, taking away the stress of finding childcare.

How long do I have to wait after giving birth before I can attend?

It’s generally recommended to wait until you've had your 6–8 week postnatal check (or 10–12 weeks after a c-section) and been given the all-clear by your GP before starting exercise again. Every recovery is different, so always listen to your body and check in with a healthcare professional if you’re unsure.

If you have any specific concerns or conditions (like diastasis recti or pelvic floor issues), feel free to get in touch — I’m happy to chat and help guide you safely.

Can I get changed at the venue/are there changing rooms?

What happens if my baby needs me during the class?

That’s absolutely okay - your baby comes first! These classes are designed with mums in mind, so it’s completely normal (and expected) that you may need to stop to feed, cuddle, or soothe your little one. You can take breaks whenever you need and rejoin the workout when you’re ready. There’s no pressure and no judgment - we’re all in the same boat.
